Great to play the Community Relations and Cultural Awareness Week. I’ve supported this initiative a couple of times now. It was great to be my friends from Orchestre des Refugies et Amis at City Hall. As always, we challenged perceptions.. We regrouped for Friday night’s Culture Night in Bank Sq. I announced that this would be my last gig with them. It has been 12 months solid work to get the project off the ground, and I’m very happy to hand over the music director position to Nicos Petsakos all the way from Greece. His musical ability is amazing; he has a great ear and his charm I’m confident will take the project on to the next level. Roll on WOMAD.
