Tonight I went to see my close friend Kaz Hawkins play her ‘bucket-list-gig’ in St Anne’s Cathedral. What a feeling it was to watch her, the same woman who walk into King Street Arts rehearsals six years ago, full of beans, full of life, full of love and full of confidence. Her jaw-dropping performance only went to affirm what I already knew about her even back then. Kaz is a one in a million artist. Her humanity shines out from her soul in every performance.
