What a blast of a weekend - and way to kick start 2019 - doing the Empire in Belfast, Friday and Saturday night. It was just great to hook up with the old London-Irish gang. Two packed houses, but my preference was Saturday because I thought The Adventures really rocked it that night. The vocal dynamic was great - as always! 900 people came out, and just after Xmas, that’s pretty impressive.
We all went over to The House on Botanic (ex-Madison’s Hotel) for a wee aftershock party. No scandals or showbiz gossip has emerged, as of yet. Only to say that someone nicked my seat - and I wasn’t too happy with that! Rock n’Roll that is.. :D
A big thank you to Seamy O’Neill at Bandstand Promotions, and Alison McGrath for a great performance on Saturday night.
